  • Company or organization name (optional)
  • Project type (optional)

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through analytics services (see Section 5 — Cookies & Analytics):

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on each page
  • Referring URL (how you arrived at our site)
  • General geographic location (derived from IP address)

This information is collected by Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics and is used in aggregate to understand how visitors use our site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries — We review your contact form submissions and reply to discuss your project needs.
  • Send confirmations — After you submit a contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, we send a confirmation email.
  • Provide follow-up information — If you opt in via the marketing consent checkbox on our contact form, you may receive up to two follow-up emails over the following week with relevant project planning resources. You will not receive these emails unless you explicitly consent.
  • Send newsletter updates — If you subscribe, we may send periodic emails with industry insights and company updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Improve our website — We use analytics data in aggregate to understand which pages are most useful and to improve site performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations — We may use or retain information as required by applicable law.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf:

| Service | Purpose | Data Shared | |---|---|---| | Supabase (database hosting) | Stores contact form submissions and newsletter subscriptions | Form data as submitted | | Google (Gmail) | Sends confirmation and follow-up emails on our behalf | Recipient email address, email content | | Google Analytics | Website usage analytics | IP address, browsing behavior (anonymized in aggregate) | | Vercel | Website hosting and performance monitoring | Server logs (IP address, user agent), performance metrics | | Google Maps | Embedded map on our contact page | Your interaction with the map widget (governed by Google's privacy policy) |

These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.

4. Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission. After 24 months, submissions that have not progressed to an active client relationship are automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 6).
  • Newsletter subscriptions are retained while your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your record is kept with an "unsubscribed" status for 6 months to prevent accidental re-enrollment, then automatically deleted.
  • Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics and Vercel's standard retention periods (Google Analytics: 14 months by default; Vercel: per their data retention policy).
  • Email correspondence is retained in our email system consistent with standard business practices.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies:

Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) that persist for up to 2 years. These cookies help distinguish unique visitors and maintain session state.

What is tracked: Page views, button clicks, form interactions, and navigation patterns. No personally identifiable information is intentionally sent to Google Analytics.

Your choice: When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept or decline analytics cookies. If you decline, Google Analytics will not be loaded and no analytics cookies will be set. You can change your preference at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in our footer.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to monitor website performance (page load speed, responsiveness). This service uses lightweight beacons rather than persistent cookies and does not track individual users across sessions.

Google Maps

Our contact page includes an embedded Google Maps widget. When you load this page, Google may set its own cookies according to Google's Privacy Policy.

Essential Cookies

Our database service (Supabase) may set session cookies necessary for the website to function. These are essential cookies and are not used for tracking.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You have the following options regarding your data:

  • Unsubscribe from emails — Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also visit landmarklogix.com/unsubscribe to unsubscribe from our newsletter.
  • Request access to your data — Contact us to request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction — If any information we have is inaccurate, contact us and we will correct it.
  • Request deletion — Visit landmarklogix.com/delete-data to permanently delete all personal information we hold associated with your email address. You can also contact us directly to request deletion. We will process your request, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
  • Manage cookies — Use the cookie consent banner or "Cookie Preferences" link in our footer to control analytics cookies. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

To exercise any of these rights, you can use the self-service tools linked above or contact us using the methods listed in Section 9.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database access controls, and security headers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
