The Cooling Operations Court project at Dumbarton Oaks demonstrates our ability to seamlessly integrate modern mechanical infrastructure within a historically sensitive environment. This project required innovative solutions to accommodate contemporary cooling systems while preserving the estate's historic character and landscape integrity.

Working as owner's representative, Landmark Logix coordinated with mechanical engineers, landscape architects, and preservation specialists to design and construct a discreet cooling infrastructure that serves multiple buildings on the estate. The project required careful site planning, historic materials matching, and minimal disruption to ongoing research activities.

The cooling court houses state-of-the-art HVAC equipment that provides climate control for sensitive collections and research spaces while meeting strict historic preservation guidelines and maintaining visual harmony with the surrounding gardens designed by Beatrix Farrand.
